On February 10, 2018, several Association members joined a group of DDG 72 Plankowners at NAVSTA Norfolk pier 6 to visit MAHAN for her 20th anniversary ceremony. Mike Conran, Tim Charous, Rich Jones and Russ Owens posing in front of the stern from DLG 11/ DDG 42. Tim and Russ both were invited to address the crew and plankowners. Following the ceremony, there were tours of the ship,then a gathering at VFW Post 3160 for Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap! A great time was had by all, especially Tim and Russ, who were delighted to find PBR at the VFW!
