2006 "PIRAZ PIRATS" Reunion

The 2nd Annual PIRAZ Pirat Reunion was held in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 18 -21.  We had a good turn out this year and hope to see more Pirats in 2007.  Those in attendance this year are listed below:

We got off to a good start in the hospitality room provided by Bob Moe, which we all appreciated, and got caught up and the events of the past year.  We also welcomed new attendees Del (DS1) and Barb Rogge.  Friday was spent as free time until the evening when most of us went to the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel.  This is supposedly the oldest show in Vegas which may come to an end soon, as the hotel has been sold and probably will be the next one to be imploded.

Saturday was kind of leisurely until 3:00 when most of us met and attended Jim and Sandy Storey's wedding at the Chapel of the Bells.  We wish them the best of luck for the future and congratulations!

The weekend also included a classic car show on Fremont Street from Friday thru Sunday with some really fine looking autos.  There was even one from Hawaii.  Also on Sunday was a Country Music Fair with various bands playing on Fremont St. from 2 - 10 PM.  Some of our members departed throughout the day and the rest of us left on Monday.  I hope not any poorer than when they arrived, but they don't call it Lost Wages for nothing!

Dave and Kate Wells have volunteered to host next year's reunion in Las Vegas in late April or early May, to get a little ahead of the heat.
